Wedding Rings
Picking the perfect wedding ring is important because it
symbolizes your love for one another. The bride's ring is
not meant to compete with the engagement ring but rather
complete it. If the two rings are poorly matched it will
spoil the radiance of the wedding ring all together.
There are a few things that it is important to acknowledge
before picking that perfect ring. You should avoid large
gaps so when the rings touch they do not cut into each
other. There are many different styles of rings that you
will come across a few of these are, the "Tiffany" band
which consists of flat sides and a domed top, this style
of ring can be completed with diamonds and engraved
designs.
The "Flat" band is basically the same style as the
"Tiffany" however the top is more flat, this ring is also
more popular and can be complimented later on by extras
such as an eternity ring. Another type of band is known as
the "keeper" or the "embracer" this band reflects on the
idea that there is a ring on each side of the engagement
ring. It creates this illusion because this band
holds the engagement ring inside; a closer look however
will reveal that the two rings are joined.
A newer style
of ring known as the "wrap" is used for giving the
engagement rings a new look. You can also use this band to
add diamonds to the rings original concept. It is a good
idea to talk to more then one jeweler before making your
final decision. You may also consider consulting with a
gemologist who can make a band that specifically matches
the engagement ring.
The groom's ring is usually a "Flat" or a "Tiffany" band.
You will be able to have the ring personalized and there
are also many
engraving and style designs available for variations.
Some couples
have the groom's ring made to match that of the brides.
